Selected Judgements on Human Rights II – Decisions of the European Court of Human Rights
The publication represents the continuation of the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights’ work on publishing judgements of international bodies for the protection of human rights. In this view, the collection is especially significant as it represents an attempt to acquaint the local expert public with the practical application of European standards regarding the protection of human rights. The first section of the book analyses the organisation of the Court and proceedings before the Court. The second section is comprised of thirteen ECHR judgements selected either for their importance in setting standards in the protection of human rights or on account of issues that are especially relevant to societies in transition as the FR Yugoslavia. The last section of the books contains the Conventions and its protocols, Rules of the Court and the form for applying to the Court.
