One Year of Application of Temporary Protection in Serbia: Comparative Analysis and Recommendations
The publication – One Year of Application of Temporary Protection in the Republic of Serbia: Comparative Analysis and Recommendations – was prepared within the UNHCR project “Support to Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Serbia”. Its purpose is to highlight the importance of the realisation of the rights of refugees, particularly through the prism of the temporary protection mechanism that was activated for the first time in the Republic of Serbia.
The BCHR has been legally representing persons from Ukraine who want to apply for temporary protection in Serbia and assisting them in accessing their economic, social and cultural rights, which has provided it with the opportunity to identify good practices, as well as shortcomings in the beneficiaries’ access to their rights.
