February 27, 2019

Donor: Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Serbia

Duration: November 2018 – November 2021

The activities of the Balkan Refugee and Migration Council are aimed at creating a common Western Balkan migration policy, with the goal of providing a coordinated response to common challenges, in line with EU law and international human rights standards. The aim of the project is to facilitate the promotion of policy-making at the regional level through the conduct of annual surveys and analysis on public policies in the field of migration, monitoring the implementation of laws and policies, and strengthening the capacities and expertise of members of the Balkan Refugee and Migration Council. The basis for forming a common policy at the Western Balkan level is the existence of reliable and comprehensive data, a fundamental policy analysis, a continuous exchange of information and well-informed policy discussions. Decision-makers among civil servants, regional organizations, civil servants in EU institutions and civil society organizations are identified as target groups. The project lead is Group 484 while the partners are the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association (MYLA), Vaša prava Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Civil Rights Program Kosovo (CRP / K).
