{"id":7515,"date":"2024-03-11T12:37:13","date_gmt":"2024-03-11T11:37:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/?p=7515"},"modified":"2024-03-14T12:46:59","modified_gmt":"2024-03-14T11:46:59","slug":"the-giz-gender-award-for-rainbow-migration-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/en\/the-giz-gender-award-for-rainbow-migration-network\/","title":{"rendered":"The GIZ Gender Award for Rainbow Migration Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Rainbow Migration Network, a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/en\/rainbow-migration-network-s-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">network formed by 16 civil society organisations in December 2022<\/a>\u00a0, has been awarded the GIZ Gender Award.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The GIZ Gender Award was presented on Friday, March 8th, at an event in Berlin, noting the significance of the Rainbow Migration Network and network aim to provide various services to LGBTI+ refugees and individuals on the move, while advocating for the improvement of protection and equal opportunities for these groups of people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Rainbow Migration Network was among the awarded teams in the field of gender equality in the Western Balkans. The RMN network, consisting of 16 civil society organizations in Serbia, is coordinated by BCHR and is funded with the support of the German Cooperation in Serbia (GIZ).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-7504 media-7504\" class=\"align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/2-1-1024x577.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The RMN network, established in December 2022, comprises organizations with significant experience in providing support services to LGBTI individuals, as well as support services to refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals on the move.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Rainbow Migration Network rallies the following organisations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>ALTERO \u2013Association for Training, Education, Development and Empowerment<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>RAINBOW Association<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Belgrade Centre for Human Rights<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Civil Rights Defenders<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Crisis Response and Policy Centre (CRPC)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Da se zna!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Danish Refugee Council Serbia<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Geten<\/em><em>\u00a0Centre for LGBTIQA People\u2019s Rights<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The Come Out Group<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Youth Initiative for Human Rights<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Info Park<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>International Aid Network I.A.N<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>PIN \u2013 Psychosocial Innovation Network<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Pride Info Centre<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Civic Association Combatting Human Trafficking and All Forms of Violence \u201cAtina\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>XY Spectrum<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"post-7506 media-7506\" class=\"align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/3-1-1024x577.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Rainbow Migration Network, a\u00a0network formed by 16 civil society organisations in December 2022\u00a0, has been awarded the GIZ Gender Award.
