This initiative is part of the broader Initiative for Global Solidarity project,<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Serbia, in partnership with the Responsible Business Hub of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8964 media-8964\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Slika-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference brought together around 50 participants \u2013 representatives of state institutions, companies, international organizations, and civil society \u2013 with the aim of fostering cross-sector dialogue on the challenges, good practices, and opportunities for improving the employment process of foreign workers in Serbia.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8962 media-8962\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Slika-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event was opened by journalist Ljubica Gojgi\u0107, who moderated two panel discussions. The first panel focused on institutional competences and responses to the challenges of employing foreign workers, while the second featured company representatives with direct experience in hiring and integrating foreign workers.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8968 media-8968\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Slika-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Conference participants had the opportunity to pose direct questions to relevant institutions \u2013 including representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, and the National Employment Service \u2013 and to receive answers to concrete dilemmas and practical challenges. In the second panel, company representatives shared their experiences regarding administrative procedures, cooperation with competent institutions, and the integration of foreign workers into the workplace.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8966 media-8966\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Slika-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The audience was also presented with a research summary by Dr. Mario Reljanovi\u0107, based on surveys and interviews conducted with employers during the previous phase of the project.
