Crossing them often becomes a struggle for survival. These are the stories of people who had to leave everything behind in search of a place where they can love freely and live openly \u2014 stories not only about their journeys, but about their strength to overcome fear, rejection, and violence.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8376 media-8376\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/SZO05239.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With these words begins the online exhibition <em data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"774\">\u201cBoundless love \u2013 When love crosses borders,\u201d<\/em> a collection of photographs and personal stories of LGBTI refugees and asylum seekers in Serbia. The exhibition brings together the stories of four individuals who left their home countries because of persecution based on their sexual orientation and\/or gender identity. Each story stands as a powerful testimony to overcoming physical, social, and emotional boundaries encountered on their journeys and during their stay in Serbia.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8378 media-8378\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/SZO05703.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1502\"><em data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1227\">Boundless love<\/em> is part of the <strong data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1272\">Rainbow Migration Network<\/strong>, a coalition of civil society organizations providing continuous, multidisciplinary support and advocacy for LGBTI refugees, asylum seekers, and people on the move in Serbia, aiming to strengthen and protect their human rights.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1619\">You can view the exhibition by clicking on <a href=\"https:\/\/boundlesslove.rs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"1547\" data-end=\"1564\">BoundlessLove<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8380 media-8380\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The author of the photographs is <strong data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1616\">Sever Zolak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8388 media-8388\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Perspektiva_rodne_ravnopravnosti_085.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The exhibition was first presented this week at the event <em data-start=\"1679\" data-end=\"1755\">\u201cChallenges and Opportunities in Migration: A Gender Equality Perspective\u201d<\/em> held in Belgrade, where visitors could see a selection of photographs and access the full exhibition by scanning a QR code.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8382 media-8382\" class=\"align-none\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"post-8384 media-8384\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Perspektiva_rodne_ravnopravnosti_082.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em data-start=\"1883\" data-end=\"1929\">\u201cBoundless love \u2013 When love crosses borders\u201d<\/em> was created in collaboration between the <strong data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2000\">Rainbow Migration Network<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2009\" data-end=\"2074\">Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-8386 media-8386\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgcentar.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Perspektiva_rodne_ravnopravnosti_084.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"post-8388 media-8388\" class=\"align-none\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"post-8390 media-8390\" class=\"align-none\"><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"1209\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1619\"><br data-start=\"1565\" data-end=\"1568\" \/>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1621\" data-end=\"1881\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1883\" data-end=\"2075\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cWe are taught that love knows no boundaries, yet for many of us, those boundaries are painfully real.
