The Youth Programme of the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights has launched the platform zastitamladih.rs with the aim of providing young people in Serbia with safe, simple, and free access to information, legal assistance, and support in cases of discrimination.
The platform offers essential information on what discrimination is, how to recognize it, and how and where to report it. The website also features a handbook – a guide through inequality, prejudice, and discrimination – designed to help young people understand what unequal treatment means, how to identify it, who they can turn to, and how they can protect themselves.
Zastitamladih.rs is primarily intended for young people who believe they have experienced discrimination or who need legal support and advice. The platform enables users to report discrimination confidentially, while our team provides guidance and support throughout the reporting process.
This platform represents a new safe online space for young people who want to recognize and report discrimination, learn about their rights, and receive professional legal support. Its goal is to empower young people in Serbia to understand their rights, available protection mechanisms, and ways to address competent institutions.
Zastitamladih.rs places youth rights at the center and stands by young people at every step of their fight against discrimination.
The platform was developed within the programme “Stepping Stones to Youth Diversity in Serbia: Empowering Youth with Knowledge, Skills and Protection Mechanisms for Anti-Discrimination”, implemented by the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights with the financial support of the European Union.
