Representatives from the House of Human Rights in Belgrade participated in the “From Idea to Impact” workshop organized by the House of Human Rights Foundation in Vilnius, Lithuania, from June 13 to 15.
This gathering brought together around twenty experienced members of the House of Human Rights Network from various parts of Europe. The workshop fostered knowledge exchange, empowering attendees with insights on creating and implementing projects that drive positive change and real impact. It also sparked ideas for future collaborative initiatives.
The workshop provided valuable theoretical knowledge on project elements, terminology, project budgeting, resource allocation, monitoring and evaluation, and risk assessment. In the practical segment, participants had the opportunity to develop and present their own project ideas to their colleagues. Additionally, donor sessions offered valuable advice on project applications. During this event, we also demonstrated solidarity with our colleagues from Belarus and Ukraine through joint actions.
On 15 June 2023, members of the Network of Human Rights Houses gathered in Vilnius to express solidarity with the people of Ukraine and their Ukrainian civil society colleagues as the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine continues. The action, organised by Human Rights House Crimea, Educational Human Rights House Chernihiv, and HRHF, was timed to coincide with the hearing of the appeal in the case against Crimean journalist human rights defender Iryna Danylovych who is detained by the de-facto authorities in occupied Crimea.
