The project “Building Resilience of Youth towards Criminal Activities” is implemented by the organization Juventas from Montenegro, in partnership with the Belgrade Center for Human Rights (Serbia) and the Initiative for Social Change – Arsis (Albania). The project is being carried out through the Smart Balkans regional grant and aims to contribute to the fight against organized crime and the creation of a new paradigm in the current socio-economic situation by strengthening the resilience of youth and providing systematic solutions and support.

Specific objectives of the project:
– Improving the understanding of factors influencing recruitment into criminal activities through research among primary and secondary school students via two surveys.
– Strengthening the capacities of the police, journalists, and youth NGOs to build youth resilience.
– Building trust between young people and the police.

The project’s goal focuses on preventive measures that allow for the prevention of youth involvement in criminal activities and the development of a common approach to addressing this issue.
