The Belgrade Centre for Human Rights presented in mid-October the results and key findings of the research “Delinquency and Youth in Serbia – Resilience to Criminal Activities.”
The research was presented at a press conference held at the UNS Press Centre, where the speakers included:
On this occasion, the public was presented with findings from a comprehensive study, with particular emphasis on key trends, insights, and recommendations aimed at improving the national approach to juvenile delinquency prevention and strengthening the resilience of young people to criminal behavior in Serbia.
The data for the study “Delinquency and Youth in Serbia – Resilience to Criminal Activities” were collected through an online questionnaire as part of the project “Building Youth Resilience to Criminal Activities,” implemented by the organization Juventas from Montenegro in partnership with the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights from Serbia and the organization Nisma për Ndryshim Shoqëor ARSIS from Albania.
The project is supported by the SMART Balkans project implemented by the Center for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD), together with partner organizations from Albania – Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and North Macedonia – Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM), with financial support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
