Montenegrin Youth Reimagine Digital Democracy Through the CTRL + Participation Campaign

As part of the Erasmus+ project Youth Participation in Digital Democracy (EYDR), Milica Mutavdžić from the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights mentored a group of young participants from Montenegro in the creation and implementation of their communication campaign CTRL + Participation. Developed to empower youth to understand and engage meaningfully in digital democratic processes, the campaign highlights both their creativity and their strong grasp of digital rights, participation mechanisms, and online civic engagement.

Throughout the mentoring process, Milica Mutavdžić supported the youth team in shaping campaign messages, planning social media content, and developing their own youth-led podcast series. The result is a professional and impactful campaign that translates complex topics—such as digital safety, e-participation, and youth activism—into accessible, relatable, and engaging content for their peers.
