Youth Exchange “EYDR Youth Digital Democracy Accelerator Programme” held in Belgrade

From March 5 to 7, 2025, the Human Rights House in Belgrade hosted the EYDR Youth Digital Democracy Accelerator Programme, a youth exchange initiative. During the three-day event, ten young people from Montenegro and Albania explored the power of digital tools in promoting democracy, social change, and civic activism.

The exchange was designed as a dynamic and interactive program, focusing on practical workshops, engaging lectures, and creative sessions.

One particularly impactful session for the participants was a workshop on digital campaigns and social activism led by Milica Mutavdžić from the Youth Programme of the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights. Through interactive activities, the participants developed messages and campaigns on topics they identified as important for their communities.

The program was enriched by guest lectures:

On the final day, participants visited the Share Foundation, where Mila Bajić and Filip Milošević conducted sessions on digital surveillance and privacy protection, introducing tools for safeguarding digital privacy.

A creative contribution to the exchange came from an art workshop led by Tamara Protić Milutinović, which encouraged participants to express their identity visions through art. Team activities further facilitated the exchange of ideas and the development of innovative solutions to regional challenges.

The exchange fostered connections among young people from diverse backgrounds, creating a safe space for dialogue, exchange, and collaboration. Participants had the opportunity to learn not only from experts but also from each other, sharing experiences about current developments in digital democracy and inspiring each other to become leaders of digital change in their communities.
