Within the project “Anonymous Hatred”, the Belgrade Center for Human Rights filed a complaint to the Press Council due to the comments on the post on the Facebook page of “Blic” newspaper, in which insulting attitudes towards the LGBT population were highlighted, calling for hatred and violence against LGBT people. The Press Council issued a decision establishing the violation of the Codes of Journalists of Serbia, according to which a journalist must be aware of the danger of discrimination that the media may spread and to do everything to avoid the discrimination based, inter alia, on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin.
